Michigan State University’s football team finished 2013 undefeated in Big Ten Play and won the 2014 Rose Bowl. Its new North End Zone Complex not only celebrates the team’s previous success, but also looks toward future victories with a state-of-the-art recruiting center. The new facility features about 16,000 square feet of tile, set with TEC® products.

Reconstructing Mercy Hospital Joplin with materials designed to withstand powerful tornadoes was the goal of this project. Because of the hospital’s vast size, the flooring system must be compatible with a variety of different materials. In addition, hospitals increasingly recognize the risk posed by moisture vapor emissions from concrete slabs.

Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurant is known for its signature menu that is designed to pair perfectly with its custom wines. Its many locations have their own specialized style and décor and always include an upscale dining restaurant, a full-service bar, a barrel-aging room, a tasting room and gift shop.

Challenge: Install 123,832 square feet of tile in a high-profile BMW dealership. The installation must not only look beautiful, but also hold up to the demands of a busy auto dealership. Moreover, because the dealership employs dozens of technicians, renovations must be done quickly – so the repair team can get back to work.  

The University of Alabama has been transforming Tuscaloosa’s historic Bryce Hospital into a destination for academic and cultural pursuits. University Hall is one of the buildings in the Bryce complex that benefited from the university’s investment in restoring the hospital campus. The renovated University Hall building houses multiple university programs’ offices.

Elementary school gymnasiums all over the U.S. are being renovated to meet today’s “fitness for life” trends in physical education and take advantage of modern building technologies. Katy, Texas’ Independent School District (ISD) made the decision to update its schools’ gym floors with new vinyl sports flooring.
